Green Vision - Project 4A

PROJECT 4A : SCULPTURE ( MULTIVIEW )

• TASK                                 : To fabricate a sculpture 3oo x 3oo x 6oo mm of size with the theme of sustainable.
• SCULPTURE NAME             : GV tower -Veayevia ( greek word meant new generation )
• SIZE                                     : 3oo x 3oo x 3oo mm
• COLOUR                           : Monochrome - green ( yellow green ,pale green ,green ,dark green ,olive green )
• Materials used                    : Newspapers , tape , superglue , buncho poster colour and arcylic .

IDEA : My sculpture concept is from one of the pictures from google show beside ,save the world and then i saw another picture with a hand protecting the earth with a green plant above the earth .My inspiration comes ,i modify and develop my ideas and then again i modify the apex logo into my Green Vision Tower and merge the three parts together ( hand , earth and also the GV tower ) . Designation is needed for my GV tower . Plant ? waht is the simplest unit for plant ...yes ,the plant cell so i choose to design the plant cell -window for my GV tower make it look like bamboo and in the same time it symbolise plants also. For the monochrome colour ,i decide to choose green colour as the colour of my sculpture follow green vision's mission - build a GREENER environment . WHY i choose APEX logo ? it's because the young bamboo symbolise young generation like us ,the future master of this world which need to take care and love for the transforming process.In order to coordinate with the sustainable theme ,i choose to use ecofriendly materials which is i recycle the newspaper and make unuseful thing into useful one . PROJECT 3B : THE CUBES (PERSPECTIVE )

• Task              : Draw out the perspective of the arrangement of the eight boxes.
• Title of drawing: "1"ntegrated studio
• Perspectives  : 1points ,2points and 3 points perspective ( 4 diagram of each perspective)
• Size of drawing: A3 size
• Colours          : Staedtler 6H ,2H & 2B pencil, Buncho water colours : red ,orange ,
                           yellow, light green ,sky blue ,deep purple and black.

PROJECT 3A : BLACK BOX ( PICTORIAL ) 

• Task                                        : Make 8 identical boxed with all 6 different colour surface
                                                    and form a new arrangement for them
• Arrangement of Black Boxes : A "1" shape
• Meaning of 1 (one)                 : 1 Studio united all 1st year students become the only 1
• Colours                                    : Red ,Orange, Yellow ,Sky blue,Light green and Purple
• Materials                                  : 6 x A2 size mounting boards and arcylic paints

Green Vision - Project 2B

Project 2B : Natural Structure ( Space and Depth )

• Task                                   : Draw out a natural structure from environment
• Natural structure choosen : Honey comb
• Shape                                 : Regular hexagonal shap 
• Size                                    : A3 size catridge
• Colour used                        : White and brown  ,and majority warm colour->
                                                Lemon yellow ,Cadium orange ,Blood red .
• Materials                            :  Staedtler 6H ,2H & 2B pencil,Artist water colours  &
                                                 A3 catridge

Idea : The first tought came into my mind when lecturer requested us to draw out a natural sttucture in project 2B was Honey Comb because the insect i like the most is honey bee.To me ,honey bee symbolise hardworking and busy.The honey comb constructed by honey bee is regular hexagonal in shape.A regular hexagon has all sides of the same length, and all internal angles are 120°. A regular hexagon has 6 rotational symmetry (rotational symmetry of order six) and 6 reflection symmetry (six lines of symmetry), making up the dihedral group. The longest diagonals of a regular hexagon, connecting diametrically opposite vertices, are twice the length of one side. From this it can be seen that a triangle with a vertex at the center of the regular hexagon and sharing one side with the hexagon is equilateral, and that the regular hexagon can be partitioned into six equilateral trianglesEach regular hexagon can connect to each other to produce a very uniform pattern and it is perfectly natural.The reason why i choose warm colour is because warm colour rev us and get us going.The warmth if red ,orange and yellow can create excitement.Besides ,warm colours convey emotion from simple optimism.Other than that the neutral of black and brown also carry warm attributes. Process : Stage I : Drawing The honey comb is drawn out by using 2H pencil and the honey bee is added to the drawing to make this drawing more attractive . Stage II : Colouring Colouring is a most time consuming part because layers of colours are added.To paint this darwing ,artist water colour is used and i choose to paint it the pattern with warm colours.The hexagon is painted first then only paint the bee.

Stage III : Outline of hexagons Outline is drawn nicely and neatly to make the drawing looks more comfortable and tidy.
