PROJECT 6 : ANALYSIS OF HBP SPACES ( COMPOSITION )

Task : Analyse HBP and prepare a presentation board with the theme of
information,promotion or development proposal for School of HBP.

Theme : Introduction of HBP school ( Histrory ,School Mision and Structure of HBP
Materials : A2 catridge and mounting board ,zig kurecolour and prismacolour markwe
and buncho poster colour( for background only )
Process
Stage 1 : Research and Collecting Information
At first, bluprints of HBP are collected at HBP computer lab and some information or history of school is found in the school journal at reseach centre.However ,key plan ,site plan and location plan are search through internet .Location plan is captured by using google map.

Location of USM is located in the outskirt of Georgetown, the capital city of Penang and near to Penang Bridge, which connects the Penang Island and mainland of Peninsular Malaysia. There is 2 way get you to USM ,by penang bridge or by ferry.By Penang bridge,the opening of Penang Bridge linking the mainland of Peninsular Malaysia to Penang Island has facilitated driving to Penang. A charge of RM 7.00 is levied on all classes of cars at the toll plaza in Perai on the mainland. No payment is required for traveling from the island to the mainland. Please follow the road signboards showing the route to USM (Universiti Sains Malaysia) to reach the conference venue.By Ferry,From Butterworth, it is necessary to take the ferry to Penang Island. The ferry service is available around the clock for both passengers and vehicles. Tickets are purchased at the Butterworth terminal and the rates are applicable for a return journey. Fares: Adult - RM1.20, Children - RM0.60. A flat rate of RM7.00 is charged for vehicles. When reaching the Penang Island, you need to take taxi or public bus to reach Universiti Sains Malaysia. It's about 30 minutes by taxi and 45 minutes by public bus to arrive at the conference venue. The fare for taxis is approximately RM 30.00 while the bus fare is only RM2.00.

Second Stage : Idea and Designation
Many friends sketch their key plan (penang map) in smaller size.Then sudden thought in my mind is make the penang map the bigger size and put it as background .Moving forward ,i want to make my site analysis more neatly so i choose to design it layer by layer .First, Key plan back ground, site plan second layer , location plan most top layer and the title HBP word with the decorations also.Introduction of school is squeezed into a HBP word and the symbols of 7 disciplin is design out .Symbol and diagram are designed in hexagonal shape which is idea from project 2A natural structure -Honey Comb.
Symbol Designation : The Symbols are divided into 2 main group ,design courses and non-design courses. Design courses : Ar : Architecture PL : Planning ID: Interior Design .Non Design courses : Qs : Quantity Survey Bs : Building Survey Bt : Building Technology CM : Contrustion Manager

Location of USM is shown by putting arrow.The diagram ,5 main part of building is drawn out by free hand and it is paint by marker pens. Labels and specifications are written by artline o.6 pen
Reuse the idea from previous project.Design those diagram in regular hexagonal shape

Luckily i managed to finish painting all thing before the day of submission.The Key plan is also painted by marker.
Final Stage : Addition of information
Eventually ,all information ,details including labels and specification are written by pen. The project is completed .Copyright is labelled.This project is quite unique because it is slightly 3D.
